Borders Storewide Clearance

 

It is a HUGE diasspointment for me to see this happen. I have been a loyal Borders customer for 10+ years. They are closing the doors of all Borders and Walden Books. Starting today, their entire store will be 40%. I imagine it will be at least a week before that drops to 50%. August should mean some great clearance finds at 70-90% off, but that of course will be limited to what's been picked over. Keep in mind they have a great toy and gift section, so here's your chance to get some great toys like Melissa and Doug products and unique gifts like cute aprons and journals. I'll be waiting for 70% before I step foot in the store so I am not tempted to try to keep them in business.  

Acer Netbooks on Clearance

Just in time for Father's Day! Some Targets in the S. AZ area are showing "limited availability" which means it's probably on clearance there, though the price may vary. 

People have reported finding it for $124.48. It is listed at $243 on Amazon.

Target {Secret} Clearance finds

Target has mistakenly marked down the Crayola Mini Twistables Crayons on the same schedule as the Easter merchandise. They are found in the regular crayon aisle, not with the easter things

Since this item is on the same pricing schedule as Easter, they will likely only be available until EOD Monday 5/2. After that, they will be considered salvage and will be removed from the shelves.

target clearance finds

I just sent a blissful 45 minutes strolling through target kid free. They have some great clarences right now:

• toddler socks that are free with a coupon from target website

• shower curtains ($10) and bath mats ($5)

• Hanging and carrying style shower caddies

• 4 pack of Bic disposable razors ($3.77, or combine with a $2 MFC)

• Wii games for $7 and $12

Great Baby Find for your baby or as a gift

I love picking up super cheap (but nice) baby finds. I stock up on them so I always have a little something on hand for the new/expecting mommas in my life. If you are expecting or have people in your life that are of that age, here's something to keep your eye out for. Print the coupon now, stuff it in your binder/envelopes, and on your next run to Target, skim the end cvaps for great clearance finds.

It has also been noted that small appliances have been clearanced from 50-75% off as many targets are re-organzing those sections of the store. A friend picked up a small buffet server for $12 this week!
